The Lakeville Fire Department responded to 20 calls for service from Oct 7-13.

According to the statistics report on the Lakeville Fire Department website, the calls consisted of the following:

  • 3 medicals
  • 4 motor vehicle accidents with injuries
  • 1 building fire
  • 1 passenger vehicle fire
  • 1 gas leak
  • 1 carbon monoxide incident
  • 1 overheated motor
  • 1 police assist
  • 1 false alarm
  • 6 good intents
The fire prevention tip of the week reminds residents to develop a plan that the family would implement in the case of a fire. The plan should include fire escape routes and should designate a meeting place.
