Lakeville Man In Jail After Bringing Gun To Fist Fight
Antonio Powell, 36, faces a maximum sentence of five years in jail and a $10,000 fine.

A Lakeville man was remanded to Dakota County Jail on Dec. 5 after being convicted of felony terroristic threats in connection with a Nov. 24 incident in the 17000 block of Firetree Place.
According to a Dakota County criminal complaint filed on Dec. 1:
Antonio Lamar Powell, 36, was arrested for threatening to use a firearm after responded to a report of a fight in progress.

According to the complaint, Powell inexplicably cut off the power to the residence on Nov. 24. When questioned by someone identified only as "Q.D.", Powell became "enraged" and punched the person.
The complaint also says after Powell punched Q.D., he went to his car and "grabbed a gun and stuffed it into the waistband of his pants." Powell then lifted up his shirt so that the people present could see the gun.

Powell reportedly stated "he was going to lay Q.D. out in front of everyone."
Powell is scheduled to appear in court for an omnibus hearing on Dec. 19. If convicted of the charges against him, Powell faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
