Lakeville Patch Marks One-Year Anniversary

Today marks the one-year anniversary of Lakeville Patch.

Can you believe that? I sure can't. It's been fun, to say the least.

I've never been a fan of tooting my own horn, or that of Patch. When we do a good job, which I think we do often, I think you, as readers, notice. I don't need to tell you.

That said, celebrating the one-year anniversary ... well maybe that's different.

In one short year we’ve gained a foothold in Lakeville, bringing you daily news and giving you a chance to interact with your neighbors and share information that’s important to you.

Everyone in the city has been very supportive of what we’re trying to do here: become the hub for news and information about .

As Christmas approaches, I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all of you—the Patch community—for your support.

If you see me around town, stop and say hello. I love interacting with people and hearing about what’s new in your world. And don’t be shy about calling or emailing, either.

Tell your friends and neighbors about Patch—the more connected we are, the better and richer and more varied the site will become. From posting your events and announcements—everything from garage sales and birth notices—your community cares, and so do we. It's why we're here.

As we move into Year 2 of Lakeville Patch, let’s build on our successes. And once more: thanks Lakeville.
