Lakeville Runner's Gate Store Raising Money for Boston Bombing Victims

All of the contributions will be donated to The One Fund Boston, which was formed by the governor of Massachusetts and the mayor of Boston to raise money to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15.

Runner’s Gate in Lakeville Crossing started a fundraiser on Friday, April 19 to raise money to help the people affected by the devastating events that took place during the Boston Marathon last week.

All of the contributions will be donated to The One Fund Boston, which was formed by the governor of Massachusetts and the mayor of Boston to raise money to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15.

Customers can add a donation of any amount onto their purchase, plus Runner’s Gate will also donate $1 for every pint glass and drawstring bag containing the Runner’s Gate logo purchased in the store. The pint glasses are sold for $7 and the bags cost $5.

“We are one running community coming together to support a community that is an iconic symbol of running inAmerica and to the world,” said Runner’s Gate owner, Phil Hoffland. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the devastating events that took place last week and we hope that our fundraiser will help make a difference.”

Community members can show their support for those impacted by the tragedy in Boston by making a donation at Runner’s Gate in Lakeville Crossing, which is located at 7676 160th Street in Lakeville, Minn. Donations can be made at the store Monday –Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
