Lakeville School and Business Closings on Tuesday
Both public and private schools are closing on Tuesday due to the continued cold weather.
The severe cold weather temperatures have led to a second day of canceled classes and special business hours in Lakeville.
Public school districts in the area (Districts 194 and 196) have canceled school for Tuesday, Jan. 7. Some community education programs and after school activities will occur as scheduled.

- All Saints Catholic School
- Christian Life School: Classes and all activities are canceled.
- Christian Heritage Academy
Primrose School of Lakeville North will be open on Tuesday.
Lakeville area businesses with special hours on Tuesday include:
- All Saints Catholic Church: Parish evening activities and the parish office will be closed. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. See the full message on the church website.
- Life Time Fitness-Lakeville: All swim lessons have been canceled. Swim team is also canceled. Details here.
The Minnesota Valley Transit Authority ran buses as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 6 and have not indicated any schedule changes for Tuesday, Jan. 7.
