LAKEVILLE, MN — ‘Tis the season for the arts, and the Lakeville Area Arts Center is planning a number of holiday-themed shows over the next few months.

On Nov. 26, the theater will perform “The Trashy Little Xmas Show”, a “collection of seasonal classics, originals and mashups” also described as a “hallowed tradition, irreverent celebration, and a bizarre ritual.” This bizarre, beloved, 3-hour ritual will take place on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lakeville Area Arts Center. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased here.

Just four days later, the theater will host the “Mini-Nutcracker” an abbreviated version of the Tchaikovsky musical that lasts under an hour and is performed by dancers from the Twin Cities Ballet’s full-length production. The Lakeville Area Arts Center will host an 11 a.m. and a 6 p.m. show on Tuesday, Nov. 30. Tickets are $12 for children and $15 for adults, and can be purchased here.
