Lakeville Council, Board, Busy With Meetings This Week

City Council will hold work session Monday to discuss the 2012-2013 budget, and the School Board has it's regular meeting Tuesday, with a work session scheduled before the meeting to discuss the superintendent evaluation process.

Lakeville's City Council will meet at 6 p.m. tonight in the Marion Conference Room at to discuss a laundry list of items, highlighted by discussion about the 2012-2013 budget.

The discussion will include a conversation about the preliminary 2012 tax levy, possible adjustments, and other considerations.

The council will also hear a feasibility report on the proposed 185th Street Trail, learn more about the Flagstaff Avenue Traffic Calming Project, and address a few other items.

Tomorrow, Lakeville's School Board will meet at 5 p.m. at the for a work session to discuss the superintendent evaluation process, acording to the agenda. Then, at 7 p.m., the board will hold it's regular meeting, where items on the docket includean update on what used to be Crystal Lake Elementary School, a special education update, and a report on Education Equity Services.

The board will also be voting on the 2010-11 annual report on Curriculum, Instruction and Student Achievement, as well as the superintendent evaluation process highlighted in the work session.
