• Feds Claim ICE Agents Were Denied Rooms At Minnesota Hotel (patch.com) — Lakeville residents are watching closely as Hilton investigates claims that the independently owned Hampton Inn in town canceled room reservations for federal immigration officers. Emails shared by Homeland Security and ICE suggest staff refused to host guests linked to immigration work, while Hilton’s corporate office stresses the hotel is franchised and says such actions do not reflect company values. 
• Stars, Jags return to the rink with mixed success (hometownsource.com) — Holy Angels’ boys hockey team notched a 4–2 win over Lakeville North during the Tradition Holiday Invitational in Prior Lake, highlighted by a two-goal night from Avi Kasargod. The rest of the tournament was rough, with losses to Edina and Shakopee, while Jefferson’s strong run ended but included a tight home win over Buffalo.
