MINNESOTA, MN — Dozens of protests have since erupted in Minnesota after an unidentified Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot a 37-year-old mother of three, Renee Good, yesterday. Legal agents were seen being confronted by swarms of protestors outside of the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building, a location currently serving as a major base for the immigration crackdown.

Since the tragic incident, the Department of Homeland Security has deployed more than 2,000 officers to the area while both state and local Minnesota officials publicly demand that the ICE agents leave. In turn, Kristi Noem, secretary of Homeland Security, has gone on to respond that the agents won't be going anywhere and that more than 1,500 people have already since been arrested. Noem also claimed that Minnesota authorities “don’t have any jurisdiction in this investigation.”
