Tree of Hope Toy Collection Continues Through Dec. 5

Events in the Lakeville area on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Storytime at Galaxie Library

The Apple Valley Library will have two storytimes on Tuesday for children and families. The first is from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., and the second storytime is from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Galaxie Library is located at 14955 Galaxie Avenue in Apple Valley.

Dine for a Cause at Spice Cafe

Spice Cafe is donating 10 percent of meals and drinks purchased on Tuesday to the Philippine Red Cross. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the event.

Spice Cafe is located at Lakeville Crossing, 7704 160th Street. 

Tree of Hope: The Season of Giving

Tree of Hope collects toys for children who are in hospitals: "Children who are having surgery, chemotherapy, dialysis, transplants, in the burn unit, etc. over the holidays are seriously ill and need our help."

A toy collection box will be located at the Lakeville Airport, 22100 Hamburg Avenue, until Dec. 5.
