40th Annual Music in Plymouth Events
Maple Grove's next door neighbor is celebrating the 40th annual Music in Plymouth. If you're going to Plymouth Tuesday, July 3, 2012 to check it out, here's the full line up of events.

The Plymouth Civic League and the city of Plymouth announce the 40th annual Music in Plymouth.
The event is free to the public and includes the return of the Minnesota Orchestra for its 40th consecutive performance as the featured element in an evening of diverse entertainment and family activities.
Picnics may be brought to the event or take advantage of a variety of food items for sale on-site. A giant screen will bring the performance closer to the audience. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display choreographed to music.

For the 40th anniversary special events from 2-5 p.m. will be happening leading up to the main events from 5 to 10 p.m.:
• Summer Carnival: from 2 to 4:30 p.m. children and families can enjoy games, inflatables, face painting and more. There are plenty of prizes - game tickets cost 25 cents each (games require 1-4 tickets.) Following the carnival is a performance by Splatter Sisters. Food and drink are available for purchase. The carnival runs from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

• Historical Trolley Tours: run at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. and highlight people, places and sites that have been significant to Plymouth’s history. Storyteller Bob Gasch will serve as tour guide. Tours are free, but reservations are required. For details and to register, call the trolley hotline at 763-509-5233.
• Skateboard Demo: from 2:30-3:30 p.m. the 3rd Lair Skateboard Demo Team will showcase their skills at the new Plymouth Skate Park located in Plymouth Creek Park.
• Unicycle Performance: by the Twin Cities Unicycle Club at 4:15 p.m.
• A brief welcome to the 40th annual Music in Plymouth is at 5 p.m.
• Performance by the 451st Army Reserve Band is from 5:15 to 6 p.m.
• Entertainment by the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater Company is 6 to 6:15 p.m.
• Musician Scottie Miller will perform from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
• The WWII Aircraft Air Show is 7 to 7:15 p.m.
• From 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. the R-Factor (formerly Rupert's Orchestra) will perform.
• A look back at the 40 years of Music in Plymouth and announcements are from 8:15 to 8:45 p.m.
• The Minnesota Orchestra will perform 8:45 to 9:45 p.m. followed by the Funtime Funktions Fireshow and more fireworks.
The city has arranged for shuttle services on the evening of Music in Plymouth. The shuttle services will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue throughout the evening at the following locations:
