What’s more Minnesotan than fishing through the ice?
Check out beginner ice fishing on Saturday, Feb. 16, from noon- 2 p.m., at Fish Lake Regional Park, Maple Grove, and learn what equipment is needed to have a successful ice fishing trip. See types of lures and bait, use an ice auger, and go inside a fish house. Class includes ice and cold weather safety and emergency response information. After instructions, participants will have a hands-on experience fishing from a freshly-cut hole in the ice. All equipment is provided.
