Children's Activities at Three Rivers Parks Oct. 20-23, 2012

On Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9:30 a.m.-noon, at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista, participants will use wool, water and soap to make their own finger puppets. We’ll take time to meet the sheep and learn how the wool goes from sheep to puppets. Cost is $20 and reservations are required by Oct. 16. Fly into a “bat cave,” play “feed the bat” and a bat-moth game. Hike in search of bat habitats. Make a bat headband, sing batty songs, and enjoy a snack. Cost is $10 and reservations are required.
