Children's Activities at Three Rivers Parks October 2012

The following activities take place at Three Rivers Parks in the north metro area Oct. 2-3, 2012.

Doodlebugs

Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. or 1-3 p.m. at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Activities are based on a children’s book with a nature-inspired art theme. Spend part of class exploring autumn and then get messy as we cut, paste, paint, or sculpt. Dress for the weather and bring a light snack, water bottle, and a bag to keep all your projects together. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number#437816-04 for the morning session, or 437816-18 for the afternoon session. This program is for ages 4-5.

Grandparent and Child Clay

Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony. Use clay to make a project using autumn as inspiration. Child and  grandparent will work together to make the project. At the end of class, paint the project with bright colors. Dress for mess. Cost is $15 and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #437803-07. This program is for ages 3-6.

My Preschooler & Me: Outdoor Adventurers – Let’s Camp!

Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 10-11:30 a.m. at French Regional Park in Plymouth. Want to introduce your child to camping? We will have a tent set up to explore, camping songs to sing and s’mores to make. Adults and children pay program fee. Cost is $5 and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #425103-01. This program is for ages 3+.
