This four-week series is specifically designed with beginners in mind. Through a series of small projects, create and print a relief block and collagraph plate. Explore the artistic possibilities of creating multiples and layering. Use Silverwood’s press as well as learn to print with a hand baren, an tool easily (and inexpensively) used in a home studio.
Demonstrations in this class will be oriented around how to use studio-grade equipment as well as how to create quality do-it-yourself alternatives. Dress for mess.
