In two games this week, the Blugolds narrowly fell both times, 1-0 against UW-River Falls on Saturday and 23rd ranked Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) on Sunday. Ryan and the rest of the Blugold defense gave up just 20 shots, only 12 of which were on-goal, while Eau Claire compiled 22 shots, 13 of which were on-goal. Ryan took two shots in the game against River Falls.

Adam Moline, Sophomore, Maple Grove, Minn./Wayzata
Moline ran a strong race at the Brooks Invitational hosted by UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, finishing 25th of 506 competitors with an 8K time of 25:40. Moline was the number four runner for the Blugolds, helping the team to a third place finish out of 38 teams in a field that included nine nationally ranked teams, four of which were ranked in the top ten.
Women’s Cross Country
Madi Sawyer, Junior, Champlin, Minn/Park
Sawyer ran a smart race at the Brooks Invitational hosted by UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, moving up throughout the entire 6K competition. Sawyer finished 11th of 500 runners and was the Blugolds’ second finisher. She helped the team to a third place finish out of 37 teams in a field that included seven nationally ranked teams.
