Maple Grove Resident to Appear in 'The Robber Bridegroom'

David Gamache, a resident of Maple Grove, Minn., has been cast in Concordia University, St. Paul's fall production of the Broadway musical The Robber Bridegroom. Gamache will be playing the role of protagonist Jamie Lockhart, a local hoodlum dabbling on both sides of the law.

Set in eighteenth-century Mississippi, The Robber Bridegroom is an love story revolving around Jamie Lockhart, a  local criminal, and his quest to win the heart of Rosamund, the daughter of a wealthy plantation owner. 

The Robber Bridegroom will be showing Oct. 25-28 at Concordia's E.M. Pearson Theatre. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m., Oct. 25-26 and 27. There is a 2 p.m. matinee showing on Oct. 28. Tickets can be purchased online at www.csp.edu/tickets.
