Eat, Play & Grow: Applelicious
Monday, Oct. 15, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista. Come see how easy it can be to teach your child healthy habits at Gale Woods Farm. Promote physical activity through play and experiment with farm-fresh recipes that inspire healthy eating. Each class will include games, play, and a meal you and your child help create! Doodlebugs
Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., or 1-3 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Each week’s activities are based on a different children’s book with a nature-inspired art theme. Part of every class will explore what autumn brings to our life-filled wetlands, woods and prairies; then get messy as while cutting, pasting, painting, or sculpting. Dress for the weather and bring a light snack, water bottle, and a bag to keep all your projects together. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. My Preschooler & Me: Puppet Escapades — Pumpkin Mystery
Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 10-11 a.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Help the puppets find their missing pumpkin. Take the pumpkin apart to create a fall treat for mouse, squirrel, skunk and raccoon. Make a pumpkin craft to take home. Cost is $4 and reservations are required.
