Girl Scouts: Fall Color Canoe
Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 4:30-6 p.m., at French Regional Park, Plymouth. Take a paddle under the changing autumn leaves on Medicine Lake at French Regional Park. Learn about some of the history of the park while being on the lookout for animals and birds that call this park home. All equipment is provided. Cost is $9 and this program is for ages 10-17. Girl Scouts: Archery
Thursday, Oct. 11, from 4:30-6 p.m. at Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Spend the morning learning archery basics from a NASP certified instructor. Learn range safety, proper shooting techniques, and compound bow and arrow maintenance. All equipment is provided. Cost is $6.50 and this program is for ages 10-17. Activity number #421904-02.

Webelos: Forester Badge at Kroening
Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1-3 p.m., at Kroening Interpretive Center in North Mississippi Regional Park, Brooklyn Center. Meet record-setting trees, including the fastest-growing tree in North America. Learn how to measure a tree’s height, read the history of a tree in its rings, and identify the trees and plants around you. Use forestry tools to uncover forest secrets. Cost is $5 and this program is for ages 8-13. Activity number #416904-02.
