Burglars Take Tools, Electronics, Purse and Bikes in Maple Grove

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of July 5-11, 2013 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Theft from Auto

• 13300 block of Maple Knoll Way. Report of vehicle broken into and electronics stolen July 5.

• 8900 block of Goldenrod Lane. Report of set of golf clubs stolen from vehicle July 7.

• 13400 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of individual taking keys from cubby at health club, entered reporting party’s truck and stole iPhone and cigarettes July 8.

Theft

• 7900 block of Main Street. Report of cell phone stolen from restaurant while unattended July 6.

• 9200 block of Zanzibar Lane. Report of vehicle stolen July 6.

• 9600 block of 63rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas.

• 6900 block of Xene Lane. Report of credit cards stolen July 6.

• 11800 block of 73rd Avenue. Report of debit card stolen from locker in employee break room July 6. 

• 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas July 8.

• 8300 block of Rice Lake Road. Report of garden hose, gardening spade and hose attachment stolen from in front of apartment complex July 8.

• 8000 block of East Fish Lake Road. Report of potted plants stolen from front entrance of business July 8.

• 11900 block of 73rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas July 9.

• 16700 block of 94th Avenue. Report of computer stolen from store. Suspect fled in a vehicle July 9.

• 88th Place and Norwood Way. Report of unattended backpack stolen when left in the grass while skateboarding July 10.

• 11000 block of County Road 81. Report of check stolen from mailbox July 11.

• 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of merchandise stolen from a store. Suspect fled in a vehicle July 11.

Vandalism

• 16500 block of 73rd Avenue. Report of trees toilet papered July 6.

• Upland Lane and 85th Place. Report of several houses toilet papered, garbage cans tipped over, and construction barricades blocking the street July 9.

Burglary

• 8900 block of Rosewood Lane. Report of electronics stolen from vehicles parked in garage, utilized to make fraudulent purchases July 6.

• 9100 block of Lanewood Lane. Report of purse stolen from dining room table overnight July 7.

• 8900 block of Vinewood Lane. Report of toolbox and tools stolen from garage July 8.

• 10700 block of Boundary Creek Terrace. Report of two bicycles stolen from garage July 11.

Medical

• 13700 block of 89th Avenue. Responded to individual experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath and dizziness—officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics July 7.

• 9600 block of Annapolis Lane. Responded to possible heart attack—officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics July 9.

Damage to Property

• 9100 block of Lanewood Lane.  Report of windows of vehicle spray painted July 8.

• 2600 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of vehicle scratched on both sides in parking lot July 10.

There were 15 property damage and five personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
