Celebrate National Farmers Market Week at the Maple Grove Farmers Market Thursday
You can also help raise funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals during Miracle Treat Day at DQ Aug. 8.

In its 10th year, the Maple Grove Farmers Market is open every Thursday afternoon June 13 through October 23 - including Aug. 8.
This week is National Farmers Market Week across the United States. Mayor Mark Steffenson and the Maple Grove City Council proclaimed it Farmers Market Week in Maple Grove at the Aug. 5 meeting.
Hours for the Thursday, Aug. 8 Maple Grove Farmers Market are 3-7 p.m. It is located outside the Maple Grove Community Center at 12951 Weaver Lake Road. Visitors to the market that are on Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) can use their EBT cards at participating vendors.

Other happenings around Maple Grove Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 include:
- Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day, with a portion of the proceeds from each blizzard treat donated to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
- Teen Anime Club at the Maple Grove Library for teens from 2–3:30 p.m. Watch anime, discuss manga and share artwork.
- Paul Spring, with danceable upbeat folk and funk music, will perform 11 a.m. at Maple Grove’s Town Green.
