Less than one year after its grand opening, <a href="http://www.maplegrovemn.gov/parks-and-recreation/central-park-maple-grove" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Central Park</a> is making an impact on thousands of Maple Grove residents — and organizations are taking notice.The <a href="http://www.mnrpa.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Minnesota Recreation and Park Association</a> has bestowed city officials with an Award of Excellence for the bustling center. Located just two blocks east of the Maple Grove Library at 12000 Central Park Way, it features several multi-use buildings, trails, an interactive fountain, a garden and labyrinth, and an impressive playground."We're thrilled that thousands have already enjoyed this special place!" said a post on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/maplegrovemngov/?ref=br_rs" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the city's Facebook page</a>.
