Fire Destroys Maple Grove Home Wednesday Evening
No one was injured in the fire on the 7700 block of Chesshire Lane North.
A Maple Grove home was destroyed Wednesday night after a fire swept through the residence on the 7700 block of Chesshire Lane around 7:15 p.m.
No one was injured in the fire, according to Maple Grove Fire Chief Scott Anderson, who said the home was a total loss.
Crews remained on the scene into the evening.

The initial report was a notice of a fire alarm, which quickly turned into a second alarm house fire, according to Anderson.
Anderson said the "behavior" of the fire was "usual" which caused the fire to spread faster than expected, although there was nothing suspicious in nature. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Four out of the five Maple Grove Fire stations responded along with North Memorial Ambulance and CenterPoint Energy.
A "sold" sign was in the front yard of the residence at the time of the fire, although Patch was unable to determine the current homeowner.
