Man Charged In Crash That Killed Maple Grove Man, Injured Wife
The woman was still in critical condition after suffering a brain bleed and a fractured back, according to charges filed Wednesday.
BROOKLYN PARK, MN — A 22-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after police said he was high on heroin when he crashed a stolen truck, killing a Maple Grove man.
Adam Pattishall, of St. Paul, was charged Wednesday with criminal vehicular homicide, criminal vehicular operation causing great bodily harm and third-degree drug possession, according to Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman.
Pattishall is accused of causing a fatal crash May 15 while fleeing from Osseo police after stealing a truck.

The crash killed 57-year-old Daniel Fisher, of Maple Grove, and seriously injured his wife, according to police and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
Fisher's wife was still in critical condition at a local hospital after suffering a brain bleed and a fractured back, according to the criminal complaint filed Wednesday against Pattishall.

Fisher and his wife were in a small SUV stopped at a light on County Road 81 around 7:20 a.m. Sunday when they were rear-ended by a stolen truck fleeing police, Brooklyn Park Deputy Police Chief Mark Bruley told Patch.
Witnesses told police the truck driven by Pattishall appeared to be going more than 70 mph and didn't try to slow down before the crash, the complaint states.
Pattishall ran from the crash to a nearby gas station, where he changed clothes, police said.
Police said they found more than 12 grams of methamphetamine and fentanyl on Pattishall when he was arrested, and he admitted to using heroin before the crash, the complaint states.
