The Maple Grove Historical Preservation Society is hosting an open house at the museum 1-5 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013.The event includes an ice cream social and a chance to view exhibits highlighting items donated to the Historical Society over the years. The History Museum is located in the Public Works Facility, 9030 Forestview Lane. Enter using the south driveway. During the drop-in event, check out a display kitchen from the 30s, a school display telling the story of changes over the years when consolidation took place, pictures and more.
