Katie Rodriguez of Maple Grove was appointed to the Metropolitan Council as the District 1 Representative, according to a July 12 statement from Governor Mark Dayton's office.
The appointment is effective July 17, 2013. The term expires Jan. 5, 2015. Rodriguez will replace Roxanne Smith.
