New Assistant Principal Hired at Maple Grove Senior High

After serving at Saint Paul Public Schools for 13 years, Eric Mjolsness was named to the leadership by Osseo Area Schools.

Osseo Area Schools has named Eric Mjolsness the new assistant principal at Maple Grove Senior High.

“Eric brings a wealth of experience as both a teacher and administrator in a very large urban public school district,” said Teri Staloch, assistant superintendent of leadership, teaching and learning at Osseo Area Schools. “We look forward to having another strong instructional leader join our team.”

Mjolsness spent 13 years at Saint Paul Public Schools. During his tenure there he spent six years as a social studies teacher before moving on to leadership roles as program manager, site administrative manager and assistant principal.

Mjolsness holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies and a master’s degree in education from Hamline University. He completed his administrative licensure program at the University of Saint Thomas where he received his specialist degree in school leadership and administration.
