Age 47 of Maple Grove, passed away unexpectedly March 10, 2013, while visiting his parent’s home in Henderson, Nevada.

John was born on January 18, 1966 in Des Moines IA. He was employed at Sheet Metal Connectors in Fridley.

He is survived by his greatest love, his son, Trever John Carter; his mother and stepfather, Marlene and Jerry Myers; two brothers, Jerry (Debbie) Higgins, Jeff (Pam) Higgins; his grandmother, Jean Gibson; step brothers and sisters; Darcy (Keith) Wessman, Mike (Kathy) Myers, Steve (Nancy) Myers, Cathy Myers, Jim Myers, Deana (Jeff) Palmer; Trever’s brother, Zachory Carter and their mother, Becki Carter; nieces and nephews; Jenna, Jay and Jesse Higgins, Jazzy Cordaro, Doug, Bryan, Peter, Garrett and Logan Myers, Sarah Anderson, Jessie Richardson, Kris and David Palmer, Travis Baughman; special cousins; Jill Grassman, Steve and Scott Gibson, Elena Stock, Mike, Lisa and Mark Ogden; uncles and aunts; Don (Jan) Gibson, Linda (Maynard) Mohn, Debbie (Doug) Stock, Becky Ogden Heinz, Wayne (Esther) Winjum, Jim (MaryKay) Myers. John was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Higgins, Sr. and stepmother, Donna Higgins; grandparents; Maynard and Neva Harrison; uncle Rich Harrison; aunt Pat Winjum.

A memorial service will be held in late June at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Osseo MN. Details will be available at Kozlak-Radulovich Maple Grove Chapel.
