
The Maple Grove Senior High School Dance Team is hosting the 11th annual Taste of Maple Grove from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Maple Grove Community Center.
Sixteen local restaurants will provide food. There will also be a wine and beer tasting and live music from Chuck Skajewski. The schedule is:
- The wine and beer tasting will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Complimentary tastes will be available from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- A silent auction and raffle will run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- There will be music from 7:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.
- A cash bar will be open from 7:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. A wine seminar ticket is available for $10 in addition to the main event purchase.

Try Hockey for Free
Wondering whether hockey is for your child. The Osseo-Maple Grove Hockey Association is hosting a free opportunity for them to try hockey.

The event takes place from 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Saturday at the Maple Grove Community Center.
Budding hockey players should bring a hockey or bike helmet, gloves and sweatpants or snow pants. The association will then outfit the players to try hockey for the night.
First-time skaters who sign up for hockey will receive free registration and a voucher for $100 toward hockey equipment.
