Two Maple Grove Teachers Up for “Let’s Dish! Teacher of the Year” Award

Two teachers from Heritage Christian Academy in Maple Grove have been named as finalists in the 2013  “Let’s Dish! Teacher of the Year” contest.

Let's Dish has six locations in Minnesota—including one in Maple Grove—where customers can come and prepare meals to freeze and eat at home. A winning teacher will be selected for each of Let's Dish's Minnesota locations. The top vote-getters will receive eight meal sessions at Let’s Dish.

Heritage Christian Academy fourth grade teacher Judd Peitsch and first grade teacher Jenna Rengo were among those named as finalists, according to the Let’s Dish website where the teachers were described as follows:

Judd Peitsch

Judd really cares about the students he teaches and is passionate about his teaching and his students’ well being. Not only does he faithfully do his best every day in the classroom, he is a true friend and supporter of his students outside the classroom and makes every effort to attend sporting events of each of his students. He is a great supporter and cheerleader for "his Kids!

Jenna Rengo

Jenna has the type of enthusiasm and dedication to her students that creates a fun and safe atmosphere for learning. She has an excitement and passion for teaching the kids in fun and unique ways! She is always prepared and meets her students where they are at…providing extra help or challenges to stretch them farther depending on their needs.

Visit the Let’s Dish! Website here, choose Maple Grove as the region, select your teacher choice and click “submit vote.”

Winners will be announced by Let’s Dish during Teacher Appreciation week, May 6-10, according to the business website.
