What To Do With Your Yardwaste in Maple Grove

Have branches, leaves and more around your yard? You can drop off your leaves and yard waste at the Maple Grove Yardwaste Site.

Did you lose some trees and leaves in the recent storm? Do you have leftover grass clippings to get rid of? You can bring them to the Maple Grove Yardwaste Site for a fee.

According to the Maple Grove Yardwaste pricing sheet, residents of Maple Grove, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Dayton, Champlin, New Hope and Rogers can bring in their yard waste at no charge. According to the yardwaste website, a city hall issued permit is required to dump for Rogers residents.

Residents of other cities can use the site, but might have a slight fee and only cash and checks are accepted.

Remember these rules about the yardwaste site:

  • All material must be de-bagged at the site and bags removed
  • Biodegradable bags are not accepted
  • Lawn and garden waste accepted, including leaves, grass, plant material, straw, apples, wood chips, sand and brush up to 10 inches in diameter
  • Material 10-22 inches in diameter will likely have a charge.

The Maple Grove Yard Waste Site is open during the 2013 season until Nov. 30. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. The site is located at 14796 101st Ave. N. in Maple Grove.
