Woman Climbed On Top Of Maple Grove Transit Bus On I-94: Report

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Drivers on Interstate 94 got a scare Tuesday afternoon after seeing a woman on top of a Maple Grove Transit bus as it sped down the highway, according to a report.

Video of the incident, caught by Minnesota Department of Transportation cameras, shows a woman climb onto the roof of the bus before laying down, the Star Tribune reported.

A spokesperson for Maple Grove Transit said the woman hid on the bus after it dropped off passengers at the Maple Grove Transit Station, then opened a hatch to the roof and climbed on top as the bus was returning to downtown Minneapolis, the Star Tribune reported.

The woman was not hurt in the incident, which prompted 911 calls and a response from Metro Transit police and the State Patrol, the report states.
