Best Places To Live In America 2022: Where Mendota Heights Ranks

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Mendota Heights is the 17th best place to live in Minnesota and ranks No. 822 among all cities in the United States, according to a new study from Niche.

"The Best Places to Live ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area," the stats and analytics website states.

Their study "takes into account several key factors of a location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area."

Data used in the study came from the U.S. Census, the FBI, federal health and labor statistics, plus millions of resident reviews.

For the third year in a row, Niche found that Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania — a suburb outside of Philadelphia — is the best place to live in the U.S.
