Dakota County is conducting the Regional Roadway System Visioning Study (RRSVS) Update. The County held an open house on November 9 at Friendly Hills Middle School for attendees to learn more about the RRSVS Update study and share their transportation concerns and needs in the study area.

Questions and comments can be submitted to the project team through an online comment form. The open house materials will be available for comments November 4-24.

More about this project

Dakota County, with MnDOT and the cities of Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights and Sunfish Lake, is updating the long-term vision for the transportation system in northeast Eagan and northwest Inver Grove Heights. Significant development and transportation improvements have occurred since the Regional Roadway System Visioning Study was completed in 2010. This updated study will assess the current and anticipated future conditions including safety, traffic congestion, land use, development, connectivity and cost effectiveness to refine the roadway system vision.
