The Arc Offers ‘Think Outside the Box’ Spring Housing Summit for East Metro Families

Residents of Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties who have a family member with an intellectual or developmental disability can explore creative housing options for their loved one at “Think Outside the Box,” a housing summit from The Arc Greater Twin Cities.  This free event will be on Monday, March 5, from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.at Goodwill-Easter Seals of Minnesota Main Office, 553 Fairview Ave. N., St. Paul.   

Residents of other metro counties are also welcome to attend, although there will be a second housing summit this summer for Hennepin, Dakota, Scott and Anoka counties.

The summit will include an informational panel featuring an adult with a disability and a family who have explored the creative housing process, as well as state and county representatives and an attorney. There will also be time to network with other families, county staff and housing providers, and light refreshments will be served.
