Forbes Puts Mendota Heights Company Among 'America's 100 Most Trustworthy'

Forbes Magazine has placed Patterson Companies, Inc., in its list of the most trustworthy companies in America.

Patterson, a distributor of dental, rehabilitation, and veterinary products, was picked for the list by GMI Ratings (GMI), a pioneer in the application of non-traditional risk measures for financial analysis.

GMI picked companies that "demonstrated transparent and conservative accounting practices and solid corporate governance and management."

“In order to rank companies from the most to the least trustworthy, we look at over 60 different governance and forensic accounting measures,” GMI's chief executive James A. Kaplan told Forbes.  “Those companies that persistently display the most accounting transparency; have the lowest incidence of high-risk events; and have appropriate Board supervision are typically ranked the highest. Companies on this list reflect these practices.
