Here's How Much Snow Fell In Mendota Heights Friday: NWS

The snowfall far surpassed NWS' predictions in many cities.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — National Weather Service originally predicted that Mendota Heights would get between 6-10 inches of snow Friday, and the city ended up getting around 10.4 inches, new numbers show.

West Saint Paul got around 13 inches.

After-school activities in ISD 197 were cancelled in anticipation of the storm.

Despite the Twin Cities being buried in snow Friday, much of the snow could easily melt later this week. NWS predicts that Wednesday will have temperatures in the 50s.
