MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — The city of Mendota Heights recently reminded residents not to throw yard waste into their trash bins.

The city provided a few options for residents instead of throwing yard waste away:

• Bring yard waste to South St. Paul Compost Site, a yard waste collection site
• Compost your yard waste at home
• Schedule yard waste pick up with your trash hauler
• Leave leaves in your yard for pollinators
