ISD 197 Lifts Mask Mandate

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — ISD 197 announced in a text message to community members that it is lifting its mask mandate, effective Wednesday.

The text message states that the School Board voted at a special meeting Tuesday to make masks "recommended but not required" for students and staff.

According to the district's COVID-19 dashboard, there were 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in students and five confirmed cases in staff members between Feb. 14-18.
