DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — The renewal of the ISD 197's Referendum Revenue Authorization was approved, based on unofficial race results.
4,388 voted "Yes" to renew the Referendum Revenue Authorization and 2,089 voted "No," unofficial race results say.
The renewed be Referendum Revenue Authorization will be applicable for 10 years, beginning with taxes payable in 2022, according to the Secretary of State website.

The referendum revenue authorization is a property tax referendum of $224.48 per student, according to the S.O.S. By voting yes, supporters agreed to extend a property tax referendum that was set to expire after taxes payable in 2021, the website said.
