MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN—As you take down your holiday decorations, Mendota Heights wants your burned out lights
Through the City's Holiday Lights Recycling program, you can drop off the strings of lights thru January 31 at City Hall, where there is a collection barrel for recycling.
In addition to holiday lights, you can drop off electrical cords, appliance cords, and phone cords If the lights are attached to wreaths, holly or trees, they must be removed first.

Cord adaptors, battery packs, plastic rope lights, and CFL lights are not accepted.
Holiday lights are also accepted year-round at The Recycling Zone in Eagan.
