New Minnesota Laws Effective July 1 Include Big Cig Tax, All-Day Kindergarten

Dozens of new laws passed by the Minnesota State Legislature kick in today.

Among them include a $1 cigarette taxΒ hike to pay for the new Vikings stadium, more thanΒ $130 million for all-day kindergarten and about a $16 million increase in the fight against aquatic invasive species.
