The National School Nutrition Association selected the theme β€œTake Off with School Breakfast” to remind students, families and stakeholders that a healthy breakfast ensures student success. Studies show that students who eat breakfast are more likely to reach higher levels of achievement in academics, perform better on tests, attain better memory, and be more alert.

β€œStudents should participate in National School Breakfast Week because breakfast prepares them for the day ahead. In addition, breakfast at Osseo Area Schools is fabulous. If that’s not enough, students have the opportunity to win great prizes for participating,” said Jeff Ansorge, director of food and nutrition services.
