Phase 2 Of Apartments At Mendota Plaza Approved 3-2
Residents raised concerns about traffic in the area, and City Council asked city staff to create a task force to assess traffic.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Phase II of The Reserves, the apartment building planned for Mendota Plaza, was approved 3-2 by City Council at its Nov. 3 meeting, the city of Mendota Heights said.
Phase II will include a three-story apartment building with 58 units and a smaller fourth floor to be used for recreational activities, the city said.

Residents raised concerns about traffic in the area(intersection of Highway 62 and Dodd Road), to which City Council responded by asking city staff to create a task force to assess traffic in the area and develop solutions if needed, according to the city.

Phase III will be discussed at Tuesday's meeting, the city said. It includes an 89-unit apartment building behind the main mall building and across from Gemini Medical, the city said.
