Want To Prevent Solicitors From Coming To Your House?
Mendota Heights residents can now post a sign to prohibit solicitors from entering their properties for business purposes.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Tired of solicitors coming to your home?
The Mendota Heights City Council recently updated its Solicitor, Peddler, Transient Merchant Ordinance to include an option for residents to prevent solicitors and peddlers from knocking on their front doors: A sign, to be posted on one's property.
"PEDDLERS AND SOLICITORS PROHIBITED," the sign reads. "It is illegal for a salesperson to Solicit of Peddle at a home where a sign is posted."
