Your Guide To Voting In ISD 197's School Board Election
Voters will choose three school board members out of nine candidates.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Election Day is here, which means residents of Mendota Heights, West Saint Paul and a portion of Eagan are voting on school board members for ISD 197.
Voters will get to choose three candidates out of 10 to fill the open positions. The terms of board members John Chandler, Marcus Hill, Maureen Ramirez expire in December, according to the district's website.
Polls will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 2.

You can drop off your mail-in ballot until 3 p.m. on Nov. 2.
You can drop off your mail-in ballot in the week leading up to the election at Dakota County's Administration Center in Hastings or the Northern Service Center at 1 Mendota Road West in West St. Paul.

- Stephanie Auran
Elena Villarreal withdrew from the race in September, according to her Facebook page.
Residents will also vote on whether or not to renew school district's existing referendum revenue authorization of $224.48 per pupil, which is scheduled to expire after taxes payable in 2021. This amount will increase with inflation and be applicable for 10 years.
