13 New Coronavirus Deaths In Minnesota; Cases Rise To 2,356
State officials said 1,160 patients have recovered from the virus and are no longer required to be in self-quarantine.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minnesota Department of Health officials say the state's number of coronavirus confirmed cases has risen to 2,356.
State health officials also reported that 13 more Minnesota residents died as a result of COVID-19 overnight, bringing the state's total to 134 people.
According to health officials, 228 people who tested positive are now in the hospital, and 116 of them are in intensive care units. State officials said 1,160 patients have recovered from the virus and are no longer required to be in self-quarantine. That figure represents about half of the state's confirmed case count, by official records with the Minnesota Department of Health.
