3 Minnesota Breweries Medal At 2023 World Beer Cup

MINNEAPOLIS — Three Minnesota craft breweries were awarded medals for their beers at the 2023 World Beer Cup Awards Ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday.
The World Beer Cup competition — known as the "Olympics of beer" — featured more than 10,000 entries from over 2,300 breweries from around the world this year.
The panel of judges featured more than 200 professionals from the industry who gave out bronze, silver, and gold medals in more than 100 categories.

Three Minnesota breweries won the following medals:
- Gold: Ursa Minor Brewing, Duluth: "Equanimity," a Irish-Style Red Ale
- Silver: Utepils Brewing, Minneapolis: "Helles," a Munich-Style Helles
- Bronze: Bauhaus Brew Labs, Minneapolis: "Deck Jockey," an American-Style Sour Ale
"It’s thrilling to see Minnesota’s craft brewers continue to excel not only on the national stage, but on the global stage of World Beer Cup," said Jess Talley of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild in a news release.
