MINNEAPOLIS — Sub-zero wind chills will persist throughout Monday, with the coldest conditions anticipated tonight into Tuesday morning.

Overnight wind chills across the region are expected to dip into the -20s, with some areas in west-central Minnesota nearing a frigid -30 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

"Warmer air arrives Wednesday-Friday, however, an even colder air mass is expected at the start of next week," the NWS notes.
