Baby And Toddler Survive, Unbelted 22-Year-Old Killed In Crash: Patrol
The crash happened in a small town located about an hour west of the Twin Cities.
MEEKER COUNTY, MN — An unbelted 22-year-old man from Monticello was killed in a single-car crash in west-central Minnesota on Monday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Meanwhile, a toddler and a baby who were properly restrained in the vehicle survived the crash, authorities said.
At about 5:40 p.m., the man was driving a 2013 Dodge Dart southbound on Highway 15 and went off road right, overcorrected, and then rolled, according to investigators.

The man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where he died. The infant boy was not injured, and a 4-year-old boy suffered a non-life threatening injury, according to police.
Conditions were dry at the time of the crash, authorities said. It is not clear if alcohol was involved in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
